Hunted Species and other TF fictions

Finally, some movies taken by amateurs are available on the Net (certainly filmed at the San Diego Comic Con ?)

I was somehow skeptical after this first trailer/movie, because the animation is very quick, there are lot’s of characters, but it’s difficult to see who does what… I spotted Megatron and Starscream in a scene (Screamer with a screechy voice ! ), but that was not enough (in terms of Decepticons lol ) to get a real opinion.

This youtube movie confirmed my reluctance about the series. I was actually disturbed by the flashy colors and the overall design of the characters. Only good point; the voices, which remembered somehow the voices of the G1 series (and David Kay matches quite well the character of Optimus Prime. Surprising, given that he had voiced Megatron in so many Transformer series!)

Maybe I need to see more to be convinced or totally disgusted…

I received another pictures of this new animated series, and I have to say… Oh, my god! It’s really awfull… T__T . I try to be open-minded, positive, but really, this time…

Tonight, on the forum I daily haunt, a member posted some information relative to a new TV series to be launched in 2008 (?); Transformers Animated. I don’t know his sources, but here are the news…

The series should count 26 episodes, and has for Director the same as “Ben 10” and “Teen Titans”, and Derrick Wyatt as designer. I have to say, all those pieces of information didn’t told me much things… But the picture of Optimus Prime did! O_O

I had a kind of shock… Not necessarily positive… (I know, it was the same with the overall design of Bay movie at the beginning, but… I really hope this is a fake ! ).

Really looking at this cover, I’m wondering if it represents Donky Kong mimicking a knight from Saint Seiya, or Mr. Indestructible trying to look like Super Mazinger O<>O
